It might be hard to imagine a run down a class II river on your  SUP board if you are new to the sport.  The fact that you are just getting your ‘sea-legs’ or ‘lake-legs’ is an accomplishment and for paddlers who feel the need for some speed and thrills, you’re in luck.  SUP’ing in rapids and whitewater is growing in popularity for thrillseekers and it’s getting some prime-time exposure at the TEVA Games in Vail, CO this summer.   Read more: Whitewater SUP added to the 2010 TEVA Games

Video Treats > Whitewater SUP on Skookumchuck Rapids

Scenes from the Skookumchuck Rapids on Shuswap River near Mabel Lake, BC.  A short trip from Vernon Northeast and we were in the water at the popular whitewater kayak haunt.
