Sunday SUP Demo! Kalavida Surf Shop is hosting free  SUP demos on Sundays to offer everyone a chance to get in on the action.  If you’re new to SUP, it’s a great chance to try out the sport and test out a wide range of boards and paddles.  For anyone looking to upgrade or go fast(er), there will  12’6 and 14′ boards by Naish, Surftech and Rogue available as well.  Sunday, May 22 between 1-3pm on Kalamalka Beach, Vernon BC. Stand Up Paddle Boarding – (SUP for short) is set to splash on to the scene, or rather the lakes and rivers, in and around the Okanagan Valley this coming spring and summer. A few of us have been lucky enough to pioneer the sport in the region and this spring, you’ll see a few more faces on Okanagan and Kalamalka Lakes.  It’s easy to stand up for the first time and you can SUP on just about any place that has a body of water and place to get in.
