Kalavida Sunday SUP Demos – Kal Beach

Sunday SUP Demo! Kalavida Surf Shop is hosting free  SUP demos on Sundays to offer everyone a chance to get in on the action.  If you’re new to SUP, it’s a great chance to try out the sport and test out a wide range of boards and paddles.  For anyone looking to upgrade or go fast(er), there will  12’6 and 14′ boards by Naish, Surftech and Rogue available as well.  Sunday, May 22 between 1-3pm on Kalamalka Beach, Vernon BC. Fast times at Kalavida High – Ferguson and Sovereign rule!

Fast Times at Kalavida High - It was the fourth race in the Kalavida Summer SUP Series and Cory Spicoli and Sheila Sovereign won their respective classes.  On what was a strangely quiet tourist nite on Kal Beach, a large group of sup’sters took to the short course with the winning times coming in under 15 minutes.  The race even included a trip under Kal Dock on the first lap and one beach portage.  Check out what Spicoli had to say about his victory – Read more: Fast times at Kalavida High – Ferguson and Sovereign rule!

ugh, another Facebook page… Kalavida Surf Shop

Kalavida Surf Shop has a facebook page and will be doing ‘almost live’ updates from the Surftech Kalamalka Classic. Look for results, photos, drama, and fashion statements from the weekend’s Stand Up Paddle Board races.  The event takes place June 19-20th on Kalamalka Lake with three events, demo’s, bocce and so much more.    Read more: ugh, another Facebook page… Kalavida Surf Shop
