2013 Surftech B-1 Bomber SUP

Surftech introduces the new 2013 B-1 Bomber SUP.  It’s been making waves in an industry already crowded with knock-off’s and budget brands and the only modificiation this year is the colour – gone is the black and white is the new look.  This was primarily to help keep the board cooler in the heat.  Made with a proprietary Bounce Technology, the B-1 allows you to take on any body of water regardless of impending dangers to the board. Canadian SUP Events – What’s in store for 2013?

New events have been popping up around the country, signalling that standup is now working it’s way onto more shoreline’s across Canada.  With such a rise in popularity, established event organizers and would-be organizers are now faced with challenges to attract participants who are new to the sport and even those who have been watching the sport carefully over the past few years, but have yet to get their feet wet.  As the world watches and waits for the sport to shed it’s ‘fad’ status and develop into a reliable and realistic athletic endeavour, event organizers across Canada have been busy creating events for all levels of athletes – but is it enough?
