Wanna be a SUP Speed Racer? Check these out

The SUP racing scene in the US has been hot for the past couple of years and it’s now catching on in Canada.  No less than 6 series’ and several one and two day races are popping up across around the country.  And as more people get into the race scene, a common question comes up -  “Can I race on my board”? The answer is yes of course – but a race board will turn you into a bonified SUP speed racer…. well, almost.  For most people, their first board is a typical all-rounder which means you can paddle in flatwater, down rivers, and even surf it.

As you progress on  your first board, there may come a time when you decide  you want to go faster…. so here are a few boards from Bark, Rogue, Ron House and Surftech that will get you movin’.
